Menagerie

I sent this card to my friend from law school who moved back to the Bay area after graduation, and is now married and had her first child a few months shy of a year ago.
I sent it along with a package consisting of a huge Curious George book and a hilarious baby book with various dim sum drawings and sentences underneath each drawing such as, "You will always be my little dumpling."

I'm sad to hear recently that my friend went through a difficult bout of postnatal depression. She says she's doing better, now that her mother is there to take the baby when she needs a break. I hope she feels more like her serene self very soon!
