Joe Couldn't Make It

I made this gorgeous cupcake card (the computer really doesn't do justice to the texture and weight and colors) right around the time of my brother's birthday last year. I was debating whether to continue the Joe the Monkey tradition, but decided that this card was too beautiful not to give to him.
Rich liked the card so much he told me that he received it in the mail independently of my hounding him ("Didya get the card? Didya like it? Didya didya???") like usual.

The red Swarovski crystal was "the dotting of the eye in the drawing the dragon". Meaning, it made the card come alive. Ahh, there's nothing like Chinese sayings...
