Yikes!

I just realized that October stealthily crept up on me.  I've been so preoccupied with summer adventures, my birthday and certain developments in my career that I didn't realize until today that - YIKES! - I have just a bit over two months to make all of my holiday cards!

Luckily for me, personally, nothing beats a chilly Sunday afternoon in my sunny apartment upending my paper craft bins and making holiday cards with a big pot of spiced chai tea beside me (chased by maybe a couple fingers of the 21-year-old Glenfiddich my friend William generously gave me for my birthday (along with a lovely sipping rum!)).

I need to get those creative juices flowing again and come up with some good ideas!  My self-challenge this year is to come up with at least one awesome Thanksgiving-appropriate card without buying more paper-crafting tools... or pretty, pretty paper, like this amazingness:
From Paper Source

... or this:
From Etsy

... Or this beauty hand-made by Fair Trade certified artisans in Bangladesh, with a hint of gold subtly shining through the marbled burgundy palette:
From Kate's Paperie

It's going to be So. Hard. to resist expanding my already overflowing supplies!
