There are few things I love more than cupcakes. There is a Crumbs bakery near my office and another one by Grand Central where Adam takes the train everyday, so I get my cupcake fix whenever I want!
The Crumbs cupcakes are twice as large as your run-of-the-mill cupcake; they're pretty much the size of a softball. They have all different kinds of flavors such as Butterfinger, Caramel Apple, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Pistachio, Raspberry Swirl, etc. etc. etc. Most, if not all, have a filling in the middle.
So, when I saw a two-part cupcake paper punch from the Martha Stewart line, I just had to have it! I made two completely different styles of birthday cards.
One was for Marcia, the wife of Adam's friend Alex.
I made another for Gabby, Adam's college friend, Connor's, girlfriend.
Adam and Connor were groomsmen for their good friend, Mike, just a few months ago. I made a set of cards for Mike's wedding that I think was the first card I've made that looked like it came from a Papyrus store. I'll post about that next!
